If you’ve already searched the internet for blast cabinets, I don’t have to tell you that there are well over a hundred manufactures making dry blast cabinets and a handful making wet blast.
Of course they will all tell you that their cabinet is the best or, most economical or… I think that, for the most part, they all make pretty decent cabinets that meet the particular needs for the money.
You just need to have your own needs well defined.
Abrasive blast cabinets, for the most part, are built in one foot increments.
This is pretty common among all manufactures. An example would be...
- Model 3624 (36” wide X 24” deep)
- Model 4836 (48” wide X 36” deep)
- Model 6048 (60” wide X 48” deep)
The heights of these machines vary greatly manufacturer to manufacturer.
As mentioned in Choosing a Blast Cabinet, pay particular attention to the actual door opening.
Some manufactures have a wide cabinet but, a much smaller door opening.
Some manufactures always incorporate the exhaust collector into the footprint of the blast cabinet; some prefer a free standing approach.
Just be mindful of this when you are looking at installation.
